Celebrate Earth Day with a nature-themed weaving activity led by teaching artist Bryana Bibbs. Explore a variety of natural and recycled materials and create a transformative textile art of your own with your family.

Drop in anytime between 11:00 and 3:00. All ages are welcome, and all materials will be provided.

Bryana Bibbs Headshot

Bryana Bibbs is a Chicago-based artist who works at the intersection of textiles, painting, and community-based practices. She earned her bachelor of fine arts degree with an emphasis in fiber and material studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is the founder of the We Were Never Alone Project, a weaving workshop for victims and survivors of domestic violence; currently serves on the Education Committee of the Surface Design Association; and was named one of Newcity’s Breakout Artists of 2024.
