Support Grant Application

Please complete the below application to be considered for the Move United Sanctioned Competition Support Grant.

Move United offers various grant opportunities to the Move United Member network on an annual basis. In addition, the Competition Department has carved out a small amount of funding to specifically address the needs of the Sanctioned Competition network. The Sanctioned Competition Support Grant is intended to assist with costs associated with having a quality event. Examples for funding requests include supporting an out of town Event Management System expert, a classifier, an official or a sport lead, or a new Event Director shadowing an experienced Event Director. If an out of town individual is secured, it would be a goal for someone local to shadow them to have a legacy for future years.

Grant Criteria/Details for Eligible Move United Member Organizations

Organization applying must be a current member of Move United
Organization must host a Move United Sanctioned Competition in 2023 that includes at minimum one of the following sports on its program: archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, shooting, swimming, and/or track and field
Funds must be spent between January 1, 2023 and September 30, 2023
Final report will be requested including success stories, an expense report, and a summary of the impact of this grant.
Priority will be given to organizations that are not receiving other Move United pass through funding and/or received a Move United Sanctioned Competition Support Grant in 2022.
