Rochester Community Inclusive Rowing will collaborate with Trybe Ecotherapy to provide 12 months of outdoor sport and recreational programming for military veterans living with physical or mental health disabilities. From October 2022 to March 2023, veterans will meet outdoors with Trybe staff, one time per week to hike through the woods and learn about personal awareness and wilderness skills that can prepare them for a diversity of outdoor programming and recreation. From April to September 2023, the veterans will transition their activities from woods to water and begin to learn the art of rowing with Rochester Community Inclusive Rowing on the Genesee River.
