Join Jamie Gabbarelli, Prince Trust Associate Curator in Prints and Drawings, for a discussion of the exhibition, Lines of Connection: Drawing and Printmaking,

Featuring fascinating drawings and exceptional prints by some of the greatest artists in Western tradition, including Rembrandt van Rijn, Peter Paul Rubens, Francisco Goya, Maria Sibylla Merian, Hendrick Goltzius, and William Blake, Lines of Connection is the first show to explore the centuries of creative exchange between these two artistic practices.

About the Speaker

Gabbarelli Headshot

Jamie Gabbarelli is the Prince Trust Associate Curator in Prints and Drawings, where he is responsible for the collection of European works on paper from the 15th to the 18th centuries. His research focuses on the history of printmaking, on artistic exchanges between Italy and northern Europe, and on the relationship between prints and other media. 

A native of Assisi, Italy, Jamie is a graduate of Oxford University’s Corpus Christi College, and holds an MA from the Warburg Institute in London and a PhD in art history and Renaissance studies from Yale University. His most recent exhibition focuses on the shared histories of drawing and printmaking.
