Visitors of all ages are invited to stop by the museum’s Ryan Learning Center and choose from a variety of activities: create an art project, explore the Multisensory Gallery, make a custom museum tour with JourneyMaker, and more.
How can visual art inspire writing? How can writing enhance or change the way we see? In this multi-session course, we’ll investigate these and other questions through a series of close-looking and generative writing exercises.
Join fellow teen creatives to create your own visual and poetic artwork combining spoken word, audio clips, and cultural narratives. This art making activity is inspired by Project a Black Planet: The Art and Culture of Panafrica.
